Over 3 years ago I said that companies like OpenAI would struggle to profit from LLMs; that there was no technical moat; thst other companies would catch up, that there would be price wars. I was afaik the first to say it, all of it was correct. I also anticipated for 25 years both hallucinations and that we would need to add (neuro)symbolic elements to neural networks, which is now routine throughout the field. people like this still run around lying about me, constantly, claiming i was “correct on nothing”. makes you wonder if they are merely ignorant or actually getting paid to lie about me.
