Figma CFO Praveer Melwani says his corp dev team now tests a target's moat by trying to vibe code its product, then runs the M&A memo past AI versions of Figma's leaders: "I think our team's gotten really damn good at some of this. You can get through some of the, you know, 'Is this a real thing? Is it not? How difficult is it or not?' There's obviously nuances to a whole bunch of these ideas, but it gives you like a solid intuition there."
