"That Trade Just Didn't Make Sense to Me": On Health, Community, and the VP Track
Product School · 产品与设计
In this clip, Amandeep Khurana, Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic, explains the trade-off he wasn't willing to make. He values health and community. His reasoning is direct: if being a VP at any company means working 60 hours a week, he won't be able to pay attention to his community, his family, or his health. That's just how it is. The line he lands on is the one that stays with you. He doesn't want to be 70 years old, sick, and sitting on $50 million. That trade just didn't make sense to him. It's an example of looking at the game somebody else defined, evaluating it against your own life, and deciding it doesn't fit.
